MANHATTAN — Courtney Love has been digging herself into a hole during her hunt for New York real estate, she complained to New York Magazine.

In the latest in a series of high-end rejections, the bad-girl rocker's interest in buying the house next to Anna Wintour was shot down by the owner, and actress and former model Milla Jovovich also rejected her bid for Jovovich's Greenwich Village home, New York Magazine reported.

Love has been living in SoHo's swanky Mercer Hotel for almost a year as her search for the perfect crash pad drags on, the magazine reported.

The rock star told the mag she has her heart set on living in Greenwich Village, but can't seem to get any traction thanks to a perfect storm of snooty sellers and bad finances.

“I thought I would trade up for a West Village house, because when I landed, I had enough money and financing for a house. And then, I got a lawsuit,” Love told New York, apparently referring to the legal feud between her and fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir.

“And my references are impeccable!” Love added.
