MANHATTAN -- Rush Limbaugh has left the borough.
The conservative talk show icon sold his Fifth Avenue penthouse to an undisclosed buyer for $11.5 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The condo is described as 4,661 square foot, 10-bedroom space on the 20th floor of a converted hotel at East 86th Street.
Limbaugh promised to move out of the city a year ago in protest of the high tax burden on wealthy New Yorkers.
He originally asked for $12.95 million for his condo, which he purchased in 1994, the Journal reported.
But after it had been on the market without any bites, he was forced to cut the price by $1 million in April, the Journal said.
Limbaugh mainly resides in Florida, where he broadcasts his show.
