EAST VILLAGE — Comedy legend Larry David was spotted shooting scenes for his hit HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" just off the Bowery Monday night.

The New York native, who co-created the popular Manhattan-based comedy series "Seinfeld," filmed scenes on Great Jones Street for the upcoming eighth season of the show scheduled to air next year.

The award-winning writer and actor was most recently seen in the neighborhood shooting scenes for Woody Allen's 2009 offering, "Whatever Works."

After the shoot, David posed for a quick couple of pictures with fans before heading back to his trailer on East Fourth Street.
