MANHATTAN — The Olsen twins have finally sold the multi-million dollar West Village penthouse that they bought six years ago and never actually moved into, the New York Post reported.
The 23-year-old former child-stars, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, bought the five-bedroom pad at 1 Morton Square in 2004 when they first enrolled at NYU, before they both dropped out, the paper noted.
They paid $7.3 million, slightly more than the cost of campus housing, and sold it for just under its listed price of $8.45 million, the Post said.
The apartment had been on the market since 2005, for $9.45 million and later for $11.995, before being sold to an unidentified hedge fund manager, according to the Post.
But the "Full House" actresses, who spend most of their time on the West Coast, according to the paper, are unlikely to be too upset about having to lower the price. They're worth net worth is estimated at $100 million, according to celebritynetworth.com.
