UPPER EAST SIDE — The bright lights of Broadway will shine a little farther uptown this May.
Tony-Award winning actor BD Wong will headline a production of the musical "Heading East" at the Asia Society at 725 Park Avenue, BroadwayWorld.com reported.
Wong, who won a Tony for his performance in "M.Butterfly," stars on the hit NBC drama, "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit."
"Heading East" follows the journey of main character Siu Yee Tong from China to San Francisco and spans the time between 1848 and 1981, BroadwayWorld reported.
The show will run from May 24 through May 26.
