SOHO — The Jane Hotel may reopen six months after it was shot down following complaints by its West Village neighbors about noise and the bad behavior of its clientele, the New York Times reported.

The hotel, located at 113 Jane St., was shut down in October by the Mayor’s Office of Special Enforcement for not having an assembly permit. The closing occurred after a slew of calls from neighbors complaining of loud revellers at the trendy Manhattan club.

The Department of Buildings said the club’s application for the assembly permit has been approved and its temporary certificate of occupancy went into effect on Monday, the Times reported.

According to the Times, the first opening of the club and subsequent events will likely be private to control crowds of late-night revelers who could spark neighborhood complaint.
