Taxi Crashes Into CVS on Upper West Side

MANHATTAN — A taxi crashed into a CVS drug store Friday morning on the Upper West Side, according to a broadcast report.

The accident occurred at the intersection of 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, when another car collided with the cab, at approximately 4 a.m., according to the WABC-TV.

Two people were injured and taken to St. Luke's Hospital, the television station reported.

The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene on foot and police were seen looking for the man inside nearby subway stations, WABC-TV reported.
