FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A fire ripped through a popular Financial District bar early Wednesday morning, leaving the pub almost completely destroyed, officials and witnesses said.

The blaze, which began in the cellar of Ryan Maguire's Ale House at 28 Cliff St, quickly spread throughout the first two stories, officials said. A bartender told WABC he smelled smoke about 2:30 a.m.

It took another two hours before the blaze was under control.

The FDNY said three people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, and one was transported to Beekman Hospital.

"We've been here for 15 years, we had another little business just a block away, but the landlord demolished that building," Mena Maguire, the bar's owner told NY1.
