LOWER EAST SIDE — A high school student is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed at his Lower East Side school.
The stabbing took place at the University Neighborhood High School on Monroe Street shortly after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.
The victim, an 18-year-old male, was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Officers are still looking for the stabbing suspect. Police said the victim and students at the school have not been cooperative in the investigation.
