CHINATOWN — Chinatown residents will get the chance to nominate spots in the neighborhood where they think more trees should be planted.

State Senator Daniel Squadron will gather with community leaders Friday afternoon to kick off a month-long campaign to bring more green space to Chinatown.

Squadron is calling on community organizations, schools, PTAs, business groups and residents to call Squadron’s Chinese language hotline at 917-254-3138 or fill out this form.

The form should be returned to Lana Cheung in the state senator's office at 401 Broadway, Suite 1901, New York, NY 10013 by 5 p.m. on February 12.

Squadron will then work with the Parks Department's Million Trees Program after all the nominations are collected.
