MANHATTAN — Billionaire Ron Perelman must pay movie star Ellen Barkin — ex-wife number four — another $4 million, a Manhattan judge ordered on Thursday.
The Revlon executive reportedly paid out $60 million to Barkin in their 2006 divorce settlement, but that did not include money he had agreed to put into a production company started by the star and her brother.
"The decision will be vigorously appealed," a spokesman for Perelman told the New York Post.
This is not the first time the end of the Barkin-Perelman union has made news.
Immediately following the divorce, Barkin sold all of the jewelry she received during the marriage — including her wedding ring — for over $20 million. Later that year the vexed ex threw a glass of water in Perelman’s face during an encounter at the West Village’s Waverly Inn.
Perelman signed a contract agreeing to fund Barkin’s production company before their explosive split and the judge ruled that the contract needed to be honored, the Post reported.
