HUMBOLDT PARK — Help your children start the school year on the right foot with a new backpack and a fresh haircut.
OMNI Healthcare is throwing a back-to-school giveaway from noon-4 p.m. Friday at the clinic, 2720 W. Division St., where kids can get free backpacks and haircuts from local barbers.
There will more than 200 backpacks in various colors available. Plus, music, food, activities for children and a raffle.
“I know school supplies can always be expensive. There’s a lot of single parents in the area and we wanted to give back to the community,” Theresa Siaw, clinic coordinator, said in a prepared statement.
