LOGAN SQUARE — Logan Square could be getting its own boozy taco bell.
The restaurant chain wants to open a cantina — similar to the one in Wicker Park — at 2432 N. Milwaukee Ave., according to the office of 1st Ward Ald. Joe Moreno.
The storefront is situated on a rapidly changing stretch of Milwaukee Avenue that includes a host of new and soon-to-open trendy eateries and bars including Deadbolt, Furious Spoon and Pink Squirrel.
All neighbors are invited to the Greater Goethe Neighborhood Association's zoning and planning committee meeting at Haas Park, 2402 N. Washtenaw Ave., at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 to weigh in on the proposal.

Taco Bell debuted Taco Bell Cantina in 2015 in Wicker Park, seeking to attract more young people in big cities. The cantina has big-screen TVs and serves slushies mixed with rum, tequila and vodka. It also sells beer, wine and sangria.
Moreno hasn't taken a position on the proposal yet, according to his chief of staff, Raymond Valadez.
"He is awaiting feedback from the Greater Goethe Neighborhood Association, which will be conducting a meeting with Taco Bell representatives," Valadez said in an email.
If approved, the Logan Square Taco Bell Cantina would be the city's fourth outpost behind the Wicker Park and Downtown locations.
