MAGNIFICENT MILE — People tired of their friends' Super Bowl parties can now catch the big game on top of the Mag Mile.

For the first time, the 94th-floor observatory at the John Hancock Center will host a Super Bowl party.

The observatory called 360 Chicago will show Super Bowl 50 on two 80-inch televisions Feb. 7 and serve special cocktails themed after the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. Anyone who shows up wearing an NFL jersey can ride Tilt, the rotating observation deck near the top of the Hancock, for free.

Admission is $20 for adults, $13 for children between the ages of 3 and 11, and free for children under 3 years old.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Hancock tower, 875 N. Michigan Ave. There is seating for about 40 people, a Hancock spokeswoman said, but a lot more standing room available.
