ALBANY PARK — Now's the time when Chicagoans start to panic that it's mid-July and they haven't had nearly enough outdoor fun.

Relax. Go Albany Park's got your back.

The program, aimed at getting people out and about in the neighborhood, has a bunch of upcoming free events designed to take advantage of summer while it lasts.

Eat: Pack a picnic and meet up with friends and neighbors at Ronan Park (approximately 3000 W. Lawrence Ave.). Then burn off a few calories on a stroll through Ronan to River Park. Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Play: A stretch of Sunnyside will be closed to cars and open for play. Activities for the whole family planned by New Life Community Church. Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., 3542 W. Sunnyside Ave.

Move: A family bike tour will roll from park to park. Kids who visit each park and complete a "playground passport" will be rewarded with a free ice cream cone at Fruityland at the end of the ride. The tour sets out from Ravenswood Manor Park, 1 p.m., Sunday, 4626 N. Manor Ave.
