PORTAGE PARK — The third event in a spring craft cocktail series designed to showcase prominent mixologists from Chicago area bars and restaurants will take place Wednesday at Community Tavern.

The 6-8 p.m. event will feature the Passion Me By crafted by Jacyara de Oliveira, the bar manager at Sportsman's Club, and Community Tavern Beverage Director Jose Cordon.

The summery punch includes Tequila Ocho, green tea and passion fruit. The "fruity and fizzy" drink was designed for the hot days of June, Cordon said.

Community, a gastropub from Quay Tao, the owner and chef of The Portage restaurant, opened at 4038 N. Milwaukee Ave. in February, the sixth restaurant to open in the last year at Six Corners.
