CANARYVILLE — The Canaryville Improvement Association is hosting a forum for candidates in the 11th Ward aldermanic race.

The event takes place 7 p.m. Jan. 21. A venue hasn't been announced yet.

Organizers with the South Side civic group say a moderator will ask questions of the candidates, and residents can submit their questions for possible inclusion by emailing canaryvilleimprovement@gmail.com.

The questions are due by Nov. 30.

The closely watched 11th Ward contest is a three-way race between progressive activist Maureen Sullivan, lawyer, lobbyist and Daley heir Patrick Daley Thompson and John Kozlar, a law student who heads up the popular Canaryville Little League.

John Tominello, a retired court reporter from Bridgeport, dropped out of the race Monday.
