CHICAGO — Beloved Wicker Park donut shop Stan's Donuts and Coffee is coming to Streeterville.
The shop is opening a second location at 259 E. Erie St. in November, the store's owners said in a written statement Friday.
It will join a stretch near Northwestern Memorial Hospital that includes Do-Rite donuts, which opened up at 233 E. Erie St. in August.
The second Stan's shop will celebrate a grand opening on Nov. 14, according to the statement.
Their menu will feature all of the same sweet treats as the Wicker Park location, which is at 1560 N. Damen Ave. That includes fritters, old-fashioned donuts, Stan's signature Pockets and housemade gelato.
"We are thrilled to expand Stan's Donuts and Coffee to the bustling Streeterville neighborhood, giving more Chicagoans a fresh and fun doughnut shop experience steps from work and home," said Rich Labriola, the baker behind the California-based shop.
