ANDERSONVILLE — There isn't much green space in Andersonville, but that will change Friday — at least for a day — when the Olive in Motion pop-up park and street festival returns to the northern end of the neighborhood.

The Andersonville Development Corp. plans to bring trees, plants and public seating to the intersection of Clark Street and Olive Avenue to create the feeling of a park, with help from Patch Landscaping and Gethsemane Garden Center.

The event, which made its first appearance in July, is scheduled from 4-10 p.m. It will shut down traffic on Olive from the west side of Clark to the east side of Ashland for the duration of the event.

Attendees can enjoy live music, games for kids and families (including bocce ball), a free screening of the Oscar-nominated documentary "Chasing Ice" and a small market with a handful of vendors.
