BRIDGEPORT — Mystery solved.

Diners looking to fork into savory Royal Pies at Pleasant House Bakery’s much anticipated second location will have to head to Harbor Country.

The Bridgeport restaurant officially revealed the location — Three Oaks, Mich. — in a Sunday email blast.

Until then, it had been a guessing game, with owners dropping clues across their social media sites. Speculation ran rampant, with fans of the popular restaurant practically begging for a new Pleasant House in their own neighborhood or suburb.

“You know when people say ‘They wouldn’t be where they are were it not for their fans?’ That’s what this is,” said Art Jackson, who co-owns the restaurant with his wife, Chelsea. "That made us really, really happy."

Jackson said they selected Three Oaks for an expansion because a friend owns the building where they'll move, and the restaurant — which prioritizes local ingredients — should fit in nicely with the area’s artisan food and craft beer scene, including the Greenbush Brewing Co. in nearby Sawyer.

They’ll offer their signature Royal Pies along with other British fare, as well as fresh salads and homemade sodas.

With two floors, a private party room and a deck overlooking the quaint town, the new Pleasant House digs are reportedly fancier than the small Bridgeport space, 964 W. 31st St.

It could open as soon as Memorial Day weekend.

As for the regulars pining for the restaurant’s expansion in in their neck of the woods, Jackson said, “We’ll work until we have a Pleasant House in their neighborhood.

“Why shouldn’t there be one?”
