STATEN ISLAND — A school bus crashed on Staten Island Wednesday morning, injuring at least seven people, authorities said.
Six children and one adult suffered minor injuries in the wreck at Richmond Road and Van Duzer Street about 8:30 a.m., the FDNY and Department of Education said.
The bus was turning when another vehicle turned and struck a passenger-side mirror, a DOE spokeswoman said. She said parents were notified of the incident.
The victims were expected to be transported to an area hospital, fire officials said.
