MANHATTAN — An elevator mechanic was electrocuted in a Midtown office building Wednesday night, authorities said.
The 39-year-old repairman was working at 1290 6th Ave., near 51st Street at 9:30 p.m. when he suffered the fatal shock, according to the FDNY.
Details of the incident were not immediately clear, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
