HARLEM — Red Rooster Harlem is quickly becoming an A-list restaurant and now it has a health inspection grade to match.

After a June 22 health check found 31 violation points, the equivalent of a 'C' grade, the restaurant, owned by "Top Chef Masters" Season 2 winner Marcus Samuelsson, received an 'A' on Aug. 4 upon after being inspected again.

This time around, the eatery at 310 Lenox Ave. only received 13 violation points after challenging the original inspection.

Samuelsson tweeted a picture of the letter grade. "Nice humbelld (sic) and cleaned uptown," he wrote.

The restaurant was cited for four critical violations during the June inspection, including failing to protect food from contamination and a lack of proper hand-washing facilities.

In an earlier inspection, the restaurant received 16 violation points or the equivalent of a 'B.'

Since it opened late last year, the restaurant has been an uptown draw, attracting many celebrities.

Samuelsson has opened a lounge on the restaurant's lower level and will soon begin offering free bike rentals.

The owner also hosted a $30,800 per head fundraiser for President Obama in March.
