
MANHATTAN — A motorcyclist was critically injured after he rear-ended a car on the Henry Hudson Parkway Saturday afternoon, police said.
The 68-year-old man was travelling northbound on the highway near 96th Street at 4:40 p.m. when the accident unfolded.
Sources said that he smashed into a car and was thrown from his bike.
The victim suffered serious head injuries in the crash and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in critical condition.
The occupants of the car were not injured, according to police.
