A man walking in Central Park was beaten with a metal water bottle and robbed by four teenage attackers last week, police said.

The victim, 39, had been on the Bridal Path, next to the reservoir at East 95th Street and East Drive, just after 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said he was struck in the head and knocked to the ground and then kicked before the robbers took cash from the victim's pocket.

The attackers then ran south.

Police released an artist's sketch of one of the attackers, a black man about 17, 6-foot-1 and with a medium build. He had short hair and a light mustache.

He was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts when the assault took place.

The other suspects are between 14 and 17-years-old and were wearing white T-shirts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
