EAST VILLAGE — East 12th Street acted the backdrop for a film shoot of the New York City-based HBO series "How To Make It In America" on Monday.
Actors Lake Bell and Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi filmed scenes for the show's second season as production crews took over part of the block between Second and Third avenues.
The show follows the lives of a group of downtown friends as they strive to find success in New York City.
Other stars of the series, which is produced by Mark Wahlberg, include Bryan Greenberg and lifelong Lower East Sider Luis Guzmán.
