BROOKLYN — A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was shot in a dispute at a Bedford-Stuyvesant club early Wednesday morning, officials said.

The man, 31, was feuding with another man inside Club Republic at 990 Broadway, near Ditmars Street, when he stepped outside and was shot in the stomach, an NYPD spokesman said.

The victim was treated at Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, but expected to survive, according to FDNY and NYPD officials.

It wasn't immediately clear what the men had been fighting about.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.

NYPD officials didn't release any description of the suspect.

Detectives have recovered ballistics at the scene and are still interviewing witnesses, an NYPD spokesman said.

In a similar incident in February 2016, a woman was shot and a man was stabbed when a fight spilled from the same club onto the street. Their injuries weren't life threatening, officials said at the time.

Club staff didn't immediately return a request for comment Wednesday morning.
