BROOKLYN — A Bed-Stuy man was arrested for slapping a woman in the face aboard a 2 train, the NYPD said.
Barry Randolph, 40, was charged with assault for hitting the 30-year-old victim on the left side of her face while the two were riding the northbound train at 8:30 p.m. on March 31, police said. He then got off the train at the Borough Hall station and fled.
Emergency responders treated the woman at the scene, the NYPD said. It wasn't clear what sparked the violent outburst.
