PARK SLOPE — The body of a 19-year-old man was discovered in Prospect Park lake Monday evening, exactly two months after another 19-year-old's body was found in the same pond, police said.
Officers discovered the man unresponsive in the water at 6:50 p.m. on Jan. 2, the NYPD said. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
The man's identity had not been released as of Tuesday morning and the medical examiner's office was still investigating the cause of death.
The cause of death is not yet known, an NYPD spokesman said Tuesday.
The body found in November was later identified as Geordian Childs of New Jersey, Bklyner reported.
