NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD on Friday released video of the car involved in a Bronx hit-and-run that killed a 72-year-old man last week.

Police found Orlando Savino, 72, unconscious at the intersection of Nereid and Richardson avenues about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with severe injuries to the torso.

He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he later died, police said.

A black Ford Fusion four-door sedan with no front license plate and a temporary paper plate in the rear was seen driving southbound on Richardson and turning left onto Nereid, where it hit Savino, according to an NYPD spokesman.

The driver then sped away down Nereid, police said.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
