HELL’S KITCHEN — Five floors of co-working space featuring lounge areas, a pantry and recreational space are heading to West 43rd Street.
The co-working space company WeWork plans to open a five-floor space inside an office building at 311 W. 43rd St., between Eighth and Ninth avenues, a spokesman confirmed.
The “loft-style industrial building” known as “The Press” is owned Billy Macklowe, the CEO of investment firm William Macklowe Company, The Real Deal reported.
WeWork is leasing a total of 64,000 square feet inside the office building, the spokesman said. An opening date has not been set.
The company plans to open another new co-working space in Harlem next month.
