422 Amsterdam Ave. at West 80th St.

This laid back bar focuses squarely on beer, and outside of pretzels or chips, that's all you'll find. 

There's a rotating selection of beers on tap, but the real variety is held in fridges at the back of the store, where there are more than 300 different types of beer. Customers can buy and drink the stocked beer on site for a $2 corkage fee or take their hand-picked assortment home.

Owner Matthew Gebhard is a self-described "beer nerd" who also owns a beer hall in Hell's Kitchen. His new spot has two floors, games to play with friends and eclectic decor, including a wall full of records.

With beers like Well's Banana Bread Beer and Evil Twin The Cowboy, Dive Bar will impress the beer connoisseur. It has more than 80 bottles on offer and 30 beers on tap. The interior lives up to its name.  

101 W 75th St. between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues

Dive 75 is part of the Dive Bar family, which also includes Dive Bar on Amsterdam Avenue at West 96th Street and Broadway Dive on Broadway at West 101st Street. 

While the selection is smaller, with two dozen different craft beers on tap, it's no less interesting than its counterparts. 

Imbibers can enjoy Jenga, board games or gaze into the iconic fish tanks.

With 28 ciders, 32 cans of beer, 24 beers on tap and more than 260 different bottles of beer on offer, drinkers might suffer from decision fatigue at Broadway Dive.

The restaurant's motto is "Beer. Biscuits. Pickles." but the popular Amsterdam Avenue spot is perhaps known first for its long brunch lines and hefty servings of Southern food first. There are 26 beers on tap, which Jacob's describes as "esoteric American microbrews."

The ale house calls itself a "proud supporter of the craft beer movement," and has the beer to prove it. You'll find 30 beers on draft and more than 40 bottles and cans. 

There's often a sports focus, with TVs at every corner of the room, but outdoor seating provides plenty of room for non fans. 

480 Amsterdam Ave. at West 83rd Street

Joe's boasts 30 beers on tap, with an emphasis on beers from New England, such as the White Birch from Hooksett, New Hampshire or the Bunker from Portland, Maine.

If you're looking for a bar that's low on frills and attitude, George Keeley delivers. Bar-goers praise the dart boards and free popcorn. There are 23 different beers on tap and you can toss them back at the bar or take them to go in a 32 or 64-ounce growler.
