MANHATTAN — A fashionable thief tied to a string of bank robberies across Manhattan has now targeted at least seven locations, with police still hot on his well-dressed trail, according to the NYPD.

The unidentified man  — caught on surveillance video wearing fedoras, scarves and beanies, among other items — was last seen at an HSBC bank at 45 E. 89th St. on Friday, where police said he passed a note to the teller demanding an undetermined amount of cash.

The teller complied, and the man fled the bank, police said.

Police say the thief has been spotted in locations across the borough since his first sighting on March 8, when he similarly handed a note to a Santander Bank teller at 250 Lexington Ave. and stole more than $2,000, according to police.
