FIELDSTON — Three men were shot inside Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday night, according to police.
Officers responded to the shooting around 10:25 p.m. at West 242nd Street and Broadway, officials said.
A 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, and a 23-year-old and 20-year-old were shot in the torso, according to police.
The victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The shooting broke out as groups barbecued in the park, according to reports. Police had no further information on what sparked the incident.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
