BELMONT — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday on a Bronx street, police said.

Officers found Brandon Rivera with gunshot wounds to his chest and shoulder after the ShotSpotter gunfire-detection system alerted them to 2335 Crotona Ave. near 187th Street around 1:30 a.m., officials said.

Rivera, of Clinton Avenue in the Bronx, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.

Police found a gun at the scene, and no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
