QUEENS — Police fished a cat out of a sewer drain in Queens, cuddling the sopping-wet grey feline after the rescue, according to a photo posted by the NYPD on Twitter Tuesday.
"Nice job on the combined efforts of a 105 team and PO Rios of ESU rescuing a cat from a sewer drain!" read a tweet posted Tuesday in the precinct's page.
Information about the cat's health condition or its owner was not immediately available.
This was the second cat rescued in Queens in less than a month. In early May, police from the 104 Precinct rescued a black kitten from an engine.
