Want to hear some awesome bands this summer, while getting paid?
The Coney Island amphitheater, a semi-outdoor 5,000-seat venue set to open to the public in June with a performance by Ziggy Marley and Steel Pulse, is bringing 200 jobs to the Brooklyn boardwalk.
Job seekers can apply to work for positions such as security guard, cook, and usher at a four-day job fair kicking off Monday afternoon at MCU Park.
Other Coney Island businesses hiring at the event — hosted in part by the Alliance for Coney Island, the New York City Economic Development Corporation's HireNYC Program and City Councilman Mark Treyger — include the neighborhood YMCA, Applebee's, Nathan's, and amusement parks Luna Park and Deno's Wonder Wheel, which opened for the season last month.
Organizers estimate that they are hiring for about 800 positions altogether.
Applicants can walk in, but advance registration online is preferred.
