SOUTH WILLIAMSBURG — Police arrested a teenage gunman they say fatally shot a Brooklyn man in the Taylor-Wythe Houses last month.

Shy-Kym Samuel, 17, shot and killed Shaun West, 36, inside Samuel’s apartment at 626 Wythe Ave., near Berry Street, on Nov. 11 about 9:40 p.m., police said.

“He was a great guy. He loved his son. He loved everybody,” West’s brother, Kevin West, 33, told DNAinfo New York following the murder.

“He was very ambitious, very motivated toward his son and himself.”

Samuel was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
