It's often said that pets resemble their owners. Researchers have even found that subjects shown photos of random pets and people will match the pets with their owners at a greater rate than chance.
So it should come as no surprise that the dogs and cats of New York City would share their owners' allegiance to the Mets, who are playing the Cubs Tuesday night at Wrigley Field in the third game of National League Championship Series. They have a lot to celebrate already: a 4-2 victory on Saturday and a 4-1 win on Sunday.
Pets are showing their blue and orange colors with pride, dressed in Mets gear of all kinds. (We'll let you judge if their owners are taking it a step too far.)
