QUEENS — A man who police believe killed a 14-year-old girl on a Queens bus last month was arraigned on charge of murder in Queens criminal court Wednesday.

Family members of D’aja Robinson who were present in the courtroom sobbed and yelled “You are a killer,” “Murderer” and “You bastard,” as Kevin McClinton, 21, sat in the courtroom, according to published reports.

McClinton was charged with second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. He was ordered held without bail.

The suspect was arrested in South Carolina Tuesday where he was hiding at his relative's house.

Robinson had been sitting on a Q6 bus on Sutphin Boulevard and Baisley Pond Park, in South Jamaica, after attending a Sweet 16 party on May 18, when a hail of bullets tore through the bus. One slug struck Robinson in the head, killing her.

Officials say she was not the target of the shooting, which investigators believe was gang related. Cops have said that they believe the shooter was targeting a girl sitting near Robinson.

McClinton’s next court appearance is June 19. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
