LOWER EAST SIDE — Police arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly shooting a father of three young children outside a Lower East Side barbershop.

Joshua Nunez, of Bushwick, allegedly killed Charles Fernandez, 29, after the two engaged in a heated argument that spilled out of the barbershop and onto Forsyth Street on Oct. 6.

Nunez has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Fernandez, who lived in NoLita with his longtime girlfriend, had two daughters, ages 7 and 3, and a 2-year-old son, relatives said.

His brother Richard said Fernandez had been the casualty of a bitter feud with some men in the neighborhood, which began in January after the brothers' teenage cousin was attacked and robbed.

Nunez had 13 prior arrests, including two arrests for robbery, according to the NYPD.
