FLUSHING — It turns out the elusive Queens peacock isn't that hard to find — all you have to do is head to Twitter.
A new parody account, @QueensPeacock, is charting the adventures of the famed Flushing fowl, which has been grabbing headlines and evading police all week long.
The bird first appeared on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, tweeting: "running all over queens, I need some lunch!"
Since then it's dared news organizations to catch it, bragged about its intelligence, and it even managed to sneak into Citi Field for last night's Mets-Rockies game.
"@Mets I'm under the Shea bridge! Hook a #Peacock up," the bird tweeted last night.
The real peacock belongs to John Bowne HS in Kew Gardens Hills.
It escaped from the school's agricultural department two weeks ago and has been spotted around the borough ever since.
