EAST HAMPTON — Harlem's famed Apollo Theater headed east over the weekend for a star-studded Hamptons benefit featuring everyone from pop sensation Usher to the legendary Sir Paul McCartney.

MacAndrews & Forbes honcho Ron Perelman opened his home The Creeks in East Hampton to guests for the third annual Apollo in East Hampton concert Saturday evening, to benefit the iconic 125th Street performance space.

The event, featuring performances by Jennifer Hudson, The Isley Brothers, Leah Lebelle, Jon Bon Jovi and a special appearance by McCartney, was directed by Pharrell Williams.

Plenty of well-known New Yorkers turned out to take in the concert, including NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and his wife Veronica, Jimmy Buffet, Barry Manilow, Donna Karan, celebrity hairdresser Sally Hershberger and Red Rooster restauranteur Marcus Samuelsson, among others.
