MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker's cornea was scratched during last week's alleged bottle-throwing brawl between hip-hop stars Chris Brown and Drake last week, he claims in a $20 million lawsuit against the W.i.P club.
In a suit filed Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Parker accuses the club — which the NYPD recently shut down for various code violations — of negligence for letting the melee take place.
Parker's lawyer, David Jaroslawicz, told the New York Post that the club is to blame for the fight that spiraled out of control between the crews — which was allegedly sparked by their mutual romantic involvement with sultry singer Rihanna.
Bottles and possible gunfire flew at the 34 Vandam St. hot spot after Drake allegedly sent a note to Brown that read "I'm still f---ing Rihanna," sources said.
By selling them both bottle service that evening, W.i.P. was "throwing gasoline on the flames," Jaroslawicz said.
The 30-year-old NBA star is at least the eighth person to claim he was injured during the brawl.
