BRONX — Police have arrested one of three men suspected of an attempted mugging and shooting in the South Bronx.

Luis Delacruz, 19, was with two accomplices when he pulled a gun on a man walking on East 173rd Street near Boston Road about 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 22, the NYPD said.

He demanded the victim’s chain, and when the victim tried to run, Delacruz opened fire four times, police said.

The gunshots missed, and the attackers scattered in unknown directions, police added.

Delacruz has been charged with attempted murder, attempted assault, attempted robbery, weapons possession, reckless endangerment and menacing, the NYPD said.

Police are still looking for his accomplices.
