MANHATTAN — This suspected bank thief's spree ended on a bad note.
Cops nabbed a serial Manhattan bank robber after he overlooked an important detail in his alleged heists — fingerprints left on a demand note, police said.
Ralph Delvalle, 41, of Brooklyn, allegedly struck five times during the run, which began on Oct. 14, and included robberies in Midtown, Chelsea and SoHo, according to cops.
Police said Delvalle first struck on Oct. 14, passing a note at the Chase bank at 1411 Broadway, near 39th Street.
Over the next three weeks, he hit three other Chase banks, but was refused cash at 111 Eighth Ave. on Nov. 5, police said.
His last alleged heist came on Nov. 9 at the Wells Fargo bank at 463 Broadway, near Grand Street, when he made off with an unknown amount of cash.
Investigators were able to retrieve Delvalle's prints from the Nov. 5 demand note and arrested him on Friday at his home in Brownsville, police said.
He was charged with four counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.
