CHELSEA — West Side's nine-to-fivers looking for an alternative to their usual deli lunch will have to wait a little longer — dreary weather is forcing a delay for the Zagat Food Truck Frenzy.

The much-anticipated festival of food carts, originally slated for Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m., will now operate next Monday, May 23.

When the current streak of rainy days does clear, twenty-six top rated vendors will descend on the blocks between 21st and 22nd streets and Tenth and Eleventh Avenues.

Those vendors include Luke's Lobster Truck, Patacon Pisao (an Inwood operation specializing in green plantain sandwiches), Brooklyn Flea Market favorite Pizza Moto, and local legend the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck.

In exchange for an $18 ticket, attendees get a four-course lunch at the trucks of their choosing.
