Kanye West, who made headlines by stealing the microphone from Taylor Swift at the VMAs last year, was the inspiration for a profane t-shirt that got an alternate juror kicked out of Manhattan court Thursday.

MANHATTAN — A 19-year-old medical student answered the age-old question "how to get out of jury duty?" Thursday, when she was thrown out of a Manhattan court over an obscene T-shirt.

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Thomas Farber was apparently not amused by the garment, which featured the phrase "WHO THE F--- IS KANYE WEST?"

"How could you possibly think it is appropriate to wear a T-shirt that says 'f---' in my courtroom?" Farber asked Nneka Eneorj, interrupting proceedings in the police brutality trial of ex-NYPD officer David London.

"You're dismissed."

But the offending tee would not be the last appearance of the "f-word" in Farber's court that day.

Following the alternate juror's dismissal, the defendant gave a swear-filled testimony, in which he defended striking an Iraq veteran 20 times with a baton.

The shirt, which is sold at Urban Outfitters, appears to refer to an exchange between rapper Kanye West and satirical talk show host Stephen Colbert.
