MANHATTAN CRIMINAL COURT — One of two suspects initially accused of raping an unconscious woman on a Greenwich Village playground bench will not face charges, authorities said.

Stanley Drayton, 29, who was originally arrested with Anthony Torres, 19, was determined not to have been involved in the incident, authorities said.

Torres, however, who lives on W. 14th Street just blocks from Seravalli Playground at Hudson and Horatio streets, has been charged with rape, public lewdness and other charges, his criminal complaint said.

He is being held on $50,000 bail.

The crime allegedly occurred at around 11:35 a.m. on Monday in a driving rain storm.
