MANHATTAN — Authorities expect to arraign ex-Nets star Jayson Williams from his hospital bed Thursday on drunken driving charges.

Williams has been in Bellevue Hospital after apparently breaking his neck after he wrecked his Mercedes SUV near the FDR on Tuesday.

The former NBA player refused to take a Brethalyzer test at the scene of the crash, near 18th Street and Avenue C.

Police charged Williams with a DWI for the accident.

At the time of the accident Williams faced a retrial for the shooting death of his driver, Costas (Gus) Christofi, at his New Jersey home.

This Sept. 30, 2009, file photo shows Jayson Williams in court in Somerville, N.J.
